Cadet (Deck)

Anthony Veder is seeking Deck Cadets to join his Fleet and support the safe and efficient operation of vessels. This role involves assisting with navigation, cargo handling, and maintenance, and includes participating in safety drills and emergency response training. The position requires a strong interest in the maritime industry and a desire for practical experience. Requirements • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent • Valid STCW Basic Safety Training certification • Proficiency in English language (written and spoken) • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging weather conditions • Basic knowledge of navigation and maritime regulations • Attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately
