Data Operation Specialist

We’re looking for a Data Operations Specialist to join our team supporting a U.S.-based client. The ideal candidate has strong technical and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working with large datasets, CRM systems, and data quality processes. Key Responsibilities • Clean, validate, and standardize large datasets (names, addresses, emails, phone numbers) • Manage and update CRM records (Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT or similar) • Perform data imports/exports and ensure data integrity across multiple systems • Conduct data verification, deduplication, and record enhancement using online research • Prepare and execute queries, reports, and exports for donor/member databases • Document processes, maintain audit trails, and report data quality metrics Requirements Core Skills & Experience • Advanced Excel/spreadsheet proficiency (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Validation) • Familiarity with CRM or database systems (Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred) • Strong understanding of data structures, normalization, and field mapping • Experience in data cleansing, reconciliation, and quality control • Excellent written communication and documentation skills • Prior experience with nonprofit or donor databases is a plus Soft Skills • High attention to detail and accuracy • Strong problem-solving and time management • Adaptable to multiple systems and feedback • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Benefits • We offer health insurance for contractors • Holiday Extra Pay • The work hours generally align with standard business hours in the US, with some potential flexibility depending on the client's needs. • This is a 100% home-based position • We prioritize the mental health of our team members and offer mental health days to support their well-being. • In addition to the base salary, performance-based incentives are provided. • There is an annual review and appraisal process in place. • There are ample opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the company.
