Job Description
Position Summary: We are seeking a Delivery Manager to lead our CRM pod, ensuring successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities. This role requires a blend of project management expertise, technical understanding, and strong stakeholder engagement skills. You will be responsible for driving delivery excellence, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the team meets both short-term and strategic objectives. Essential Job Functions: • Pod Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations of the CRM pod, ensuring smooth collaboration between developers, QA, and other team members. • Story Creation & Backlog Management: Partner with developers to create user stories, prioritize tasks, and manage the backlog effectively. • Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct workshops and meetings with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify scope, and align priorities. • Quarterly Planning: Develop quarterly plans for the CRM pod, incorporating stakeholder input to ensure the team focuses on the highest-value work. • Release Planning: Coordinate release schedules, ensuring readiness and successful deployment of CRM features. • Metrics Tracking: Track and report monthly delivery metrics (e.g., velocity, quality, release success, defect rates) to drive transparency and continuous improvement. • Risk & Issue Management: Identify delivery risks early, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues as needed. • Resource Management: Monitor resource allocations for the CRM pod to ensure efficient delivery. • Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to maintain seamless communication and execution. • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, ensuring adherence to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile best practices. • Governance & Compliance: Ensure all deliverables meet compliance, security, and quality standards. • Team Development: Mentor and coach team members on delivery practices and agile principles. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: • Education: ◦ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Project Management, or related field. • Experience: ◦ 5–7 years of experience in project or delivery management within technology environments. ◦ Hands-on experience with SDLC and agile methodologies. ◦ Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics) is a plus. • Certifications (Preferred): ◦ PMP or Scrum Master certification. • Skills: ◦ Strong technical acumen and ability to understand CRM systems. ◦ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. ◦ Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities. ◦ Experience working with distributed teams (onshore/offshore). ◦ Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project). ◦ Strong analytical skills for interpreting metrics and driving improvements. ◦ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities About Us: At Penn Foster Group, we are transforming online learning to help learners by bringing together Penn Foster, CareerStep, Ashworth College, James Madison High School, the New York Institute of Photography, the New York Institute of Art and Design, and other education platforms.
