Jr. Engagement Specialist

About the Role We’re hiring a Jr. Engagement Specialist to support Wing’s VA engagement and retention initiatives by planning, organizing, and executing activities that build community and loyalty among virtual assistants.This role involves event planning, supplier negotiation, venue sourcing, and budget coordination, ensuring engagement activities are meaningful, cost-effective, and aligned with Wing’s culture and retention goals.Qualifications • At least 1–2 years of experience in events coordination, employee engagement, or administrative support. • Strong communication and negotiation skills, particularly in dealing with suppliers and venues. • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel, or project management tools for budgeting and event tracking. • Creative and proactive mindset with strong attention to detail. • Comfortable managing both virtual and on-ground engagement events. Preferred Skills • Experience in People Operations, HR, or internal communications. • Background in vendor management, event marketing, or employee experience programs. • Familiarity with remote team engagement tools or virtual event platforms. • Ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining cost efficiency and engagement quality.
