Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Magento Developer to join our Managed Services Run Team. This role is focused on support and maintenance of Magento (Adobe Commerce) platforms for a global client. The developer will be responsible for investigating incidents, providing clear explanations, implementing hotfixes when required, and escalating findings to the build team when necessary.
The team operates 24/5 across different shifts. This role will primarily cover the night shift (1 AM – 5 AM PHT), with flexibility required to occasionally adjust shifts to cover other team members' absences.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and respond to support tickets according to SLAs.
• Investigate issues on Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) platforms and provide clear root cause analysis.
• Implement hotfixes or minor patches when necessary.
• Escalate complex issues to the build/development team with well-documented findings.
• Collaborate with global Run Team members to ensure smooth 24/5 coverage.
• Maintain proper documentation of incident handling and fixes.
• Follow best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment for hotfixes.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Magento (Magento 2.x required, Adobe Commerce experience preferred).
• Strong PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript skills.
• Experience with debugging, log analysis, and issue resolution in production environments.
• Familiarity with Git, Jira (or similar ticketing systems), and common DevOps workflows.
• Magento certification(s) preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in incident management and working within SLA-driven environments is an advantage.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts, while being a strong team player in handovers and escalations.
Nice to Have
• Knowledge of Adobe Commerce Cloud and integrations (payment gateways, APIs, etc.).
• Experience with Docker/Warden, AWS, or other cloud environments.
• Prior experience in a Managed Services or global support team.
