This role involves planning efficient routes, assigning trips to drivers, negotiating trip acceptance, and ensuring schedules run smoothly. Strong presentation and negotiation skills are key to motivating drivers to accept assigned trips and maintaining operational efficiency. You will work closely with U.S.-based operations staff and drivers to optimize scheduling, improve trip efficiency, and maintain a high standard of service for patients. • Work Schedule: US Hours (EST) • Work Setup: Remote | Independent Contractor • Employment Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity • Fixed Salary: USD 900/ Month • Perks: 10 PTO days + HMO (after probation) • Payout: Semi-Monthly • Equipment: Self-Provided Key Responsibilities: • Plan, schedule, and optimize daily transportation routes for NEMT drivers. • Assign trips to drivers and ensure acceptance through effective communication, presentation, and negotiation. • Monitor driver schedules and adjust routes as needed for delays, cancellations, or emergencies. • Communicate with drivers proactively to resolve concerns, provide support, and encourage timely trip acceptance. • Ensure all trips comply with NEMT regulatory requirements and company policies. • Maintain accurate records of trips, drivers, and route changes using company software. • Collaborate with dispatch, operations, and customer support teams to resolve scheduling conflicts. • Identify opportunities to improve routing efficiency and reduce operational costs. • Generate reports on route performance, on-time metrics, and driver engagement. • Provide insights and recommendations to management to enhance overall transportation operations. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in routing, dispatch, logistics coordination, or transportation planning (experience with NEMT or U.S.-based operations is a plus). • Background in sales, customer service, or client engagement is highly preferred to leverage presentation and negotiation skills with drivers. • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written). • Ability to motivate and influence drivers to accept trips while maintaining positive relationships. • Familiarity with routing and mapping software (e.g., Google Maps, Waze, or route optimization tools). • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. • Ability to multitask and manage last-minute changes effectively. • High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. • Comfortable working with U.S. time zones (EST). • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace suitable for remote work. Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous): • Prior experience in Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) operations. • Familiarity with NEMT software platforms. • Knowledge of U.S. transportation regulations and compliance requirements. • Experience in data analysis or route optimization strategies.
