Position Summary We are looking for a Principal MuleSoft Architect to join our leadership team and serve as a Co-Chief Technology Officer. This is a strategic, high-impact role for an experienced technologist who is ready to shape and drive Leadex’s technical vision, lead mission-critical projects, and mentor the next generation of integration architects. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement enterprise-grade MuleSoft solutions that solve complex business challenges. You’ll also play a key role in scaling our architecture practice and contributing to the company’s growth and innovation agenda. Responsibilities • Collaborate with Project Managers, architects, clients, and stakeholders to strategise and implement advanced MuleSoft API solutions aligned with business requirements. • Conduct in-depth technical analyses of business needs and provide architectural guidance. • Lead the discovery, solution design and implementation phases of projects. • Champion the practice of API-Led Connectivity within the team. • Contribute to CI/CD and deployment strategy of solutions being delivered. • Act as a mentor, providing guidance and training to internal teams on design and architecture best practices. Desired Skills and Qualifications • A minimum of 5 years of experience and expertise in MuleSoft ecosystem. • Experience (minimum 5 years) in successfully designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level solutions addressing complex business requirements. • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns and API design best practices (REST and RPC approaches). • In-depth understanding of Microservices architectural style and its comparison to traditional SOA approaches. • Proficient in English and German (B2+ level or above), capable of confident communication. • Experience working in geographically distributed teams using Agile and Hybrid frameworks and practices. • Preferably experience with Linux container technologies (Docker/rkt) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes/Openshift). Considered as an Advantage • Hands-on experience with Salesforce implementations. • Domain knowledge in Banking, Fintech, Retail or E-com. • Familiarity with SSO/IDM solutions like KeyCloak, ForgeRock, Okta, Auth0. • Broad experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Apache ActiveMQ, Apache Kafka, ZeroMQ). • Advanced user experience with Linux or other Unix-like operating systems. • Experience in DevOps activities & automation (Jenkins, Teamcity, Bamboo), monitoring (Zabbix, Prometheus), and cloud solutions (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud).
