Job overview:
Following the recent acquisition of the Dutch audio software developer LAMA, Ross Video is looking for a Product Specialist to be a front-line representative of Ross Video’s newly formed Audio Systems division. The candidate would become a key member in the new team, with the mission to build the future of hybrid software and hardware based audio production solutions. The role is important in supporting the sales process and helping to drive revenue and market growth. The role is highly customer facing, working closely with the business development, product management and solutions teams to secure long-term success of the product line. The Product Specialist will gather customer feedback to help inform product enhancements, working under guidance from senior product and business development leads to support market research. What the job is all about:
• To promote Ross Video’s range of audio systems to customers worldwide.
• Increase the knowledge of Ross Audio Systems propositions and USPs within Ross Video and throughout our partner network.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers over time.
• Work closely with the sales teams on sales opportunities to drive revenue.
• Represent Ross Video at trade shows and industry events.
• Develop materials to support the sales process including documents, videos, and other materials.
• Work with Product Management to gather customer feedback and contribute to future product development.
Who you are:
• Experience of audio engineering in one or more of the following applications: sports, news, corporate, house of worship and general live events.
• A strong knowledge of live audio production workflows for in-venue, broadcast and streaming platforms.
• The ability to work independently on assigned tasks and contribute to team goals, with guidance from senior team members.
• The ability to work in a team and build networks within an organization.
• The ability to learn technical concepts quickly.
• Comfortable with presenting product features and benefits to customers and internal teams.
• Able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
• A willingness to travel and meet new people.
• Solution architecture experience.
• Commercial awareness, preferably with sales or marketing experience.
• Knowledge of cloud and VM environments.
Bonus points if you have the following:
• Additional language(s).
• Prior experience working for a technical B2B equipment vendor.
• A network of contacts in various organizations within the sports, news and/or live events markets.
• Experience of working with AoIP.
• Working knowledge of video production technology.
Other:
• Full drivers licence.
• Fluent level spoken and written English.
• Valid passport
