Job Description
Our Central Division plays a vital role in ensuring that our operational and administrative functions are delivered efficiently, enabling us to maintain the highest standards of care across our organisation.
This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week.
Location of the role:This remote working working regional role involves occasional national travel with frequent travel to services and training venues, so flexibility and organisation are essential. What you'll be doing
Lead the development, delivery and quality assurance of the physical intervention team (RRIT) and curriculum across the division. You’ll provide expert leadership to instructors, drive BILD accreditation and ensure compliance with RRN standards. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on training delivery and continuous improvement. Collaborate across departments to embed best practice and reduce restrictive interventions organisation-wide.• Provide visible leadership and expert guidance on all aspects of the Physical Interventions curriculum (RRI), ensuring compliance with RRN standards and organisational policy.
• Lead, line manage and support the senior divisional RRI instructors, driving quality assurance, performance and continuous improvement across all services.
• Oversee curriculum design, evaluation and accreditation, including leading the BILD accreditation process and ensuring best practice and collaboration underpins all training delivery.
• Coordinate divisional audits and governance reporting, analysing trends and outcomes to inform safe and effective practice.
• Collaborate across departments and service networks to embed learning and reduce reliance on restrictive interventions
What you'll bring to the role
An experienced professional with advanced expertise in preventing and managing violence and aggression, including de-escalation and physical intervention. You’ll be a current or previous certified instructor in a recognised physical intervention programme (PMVA/MAPA/RRN or equivalent) with strong knowledge of BILD accreditation and RRN Standards.You’ll have proven experience leading teams, delivering high-quality training, and producing clear reports, with excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills.
