Salesforce QA Engineer What We Need We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Salesforce QA Engineer with a strong background in automation and robotic testing to join our growing team. This role is critical to ensuring quality, stability, and compliance across our Salesforce ecosystem. You will lead test planning, execution, and automation while mentoring junior QA team members and collaborating cross-functionally with Project Managers/BAs, Architects, Admins, and Developers. How We Work As a Salesforce QA Engineer, you will join a fast-paced high performing team that works in a remote first environment. We will set you up for success by providing: • Company-issued equipment • Formal remote training Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include: • Requirement Analysis • Interpret and validate business and technical requirements • Review user stories and acceptance criteria with a QA lens • Collaborate closely with BAs, developers, and stakeholders to clarify testing scope • Test Planning • Develop test strategies, plans, and test scenarios tailored to Salesforce platform releases and projects • Define environments, data needs, and risk areas for new features and regressions • Test Case Design – Author detailed test cases covering: ▪ Standard Salesforce objects (Leads, Opportunities, etc.) ▪ Custom objects, validation rules, workflows, Lightning components ▪ Apex code (classes, triggers), Visualforce pages ▪ REST/SOAP APIs and middleware integrations • Manual Testing • Perform functional, integration, regression, and UI testing within Salesforce Lightning • Validate test cases across multiple user roles, profiles, and record types • Automation & Robotic Testing • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Copado Robotic Testing • Own smoke, regression, and end-to-end flow automation suites • Identify opportunities to scale automation coverage in collaboration with the dev team • Regression and Re-Testing • Execute defect retests and regression tests across core business flows • Maintain regression test suites for core modules and integrations • Integration Testing • Test new and existing integrations with systems such as ERP, marketing platforms, and middleware (Mulesoft, Reltio) • Validate API data integrity and performance post-upgrades or enhancements • Post-Production Smoke Testing • Own and execute smoke tests immediately following production deployments • Validate core flows to confirm platform stability and business continuity post-release • Defect Management • Log, track, and re-test bugs using tools like Copado • Conduct root cause analysis for repeated or high-impact issues • Mentorship & Best Practices • Mentor junior QA engineers, conduct code reviews for test automation scripts • Drive QA standards, reusable test frameworks, and knowledge sharing within the QA community Qualifications & Skills Minimum Requirements: • 4+ years of QA experience, including 2+ years in Salesforce testing • Hands-on experience with Copado Robotic Testing or similar frameworks • Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, standard/custom objects, and Apex code behavior • Experience testing APIs and integrations (REST/SOAP, middleware) • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and DevOps-driven release cycles • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder) • Experience with Copado CI/CD, Git, or other test automation pipelines • Prior experience mentoring junior QA team members or leading QA efforts Benefits & Perks • Medical, Dental & Vision benefits available the 1st month after hire • Automatic enrollment into our 401k plan (subject to eligibility requirements) • Virtual fitness classes offered company-wide • Robust PTO offerings including: major holidays, vacation, sick, personal, & volunteer time • Employee discounts with major providers (i.e. wireless, gym, car rental, etc.) • Philanthropic support with both local and national organizations • Fun culture with company-wide contests and prizes Our Company & Purpose Corpay is a global leader in business payments, laser focused on developing smarter ways for businesses to pay their expenses. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At Corpay it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. The estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $110,000–$130,000.
